Peer Support Services
NDBIN and North Dakota's Behavioral Health Division see the importance in utilizing peer support for recovery. North Dakota offers a Peer Support Certification and NDBIN has a peer support specialist on staff you may contact to receive services. Peer support works because the power of sharing a lived experience with someone fosters connection, hope, and empowerment among individuals facing similar challenges. Peer support is meant to reduce isolation, promote understanding, as well as providing practical guidance and inspiration.
