Primary Care and TBI
Overview
Geared towards primary care providers working with patients with brain injury, learners will hear from a variety of speakers impacted by TBI, and learn strategies that are helpful in their care or practice.
The course contains three modules with reviews after each module and a final exam upon course completion.

Course Objectives
- Define acquired and traumatic brain injury including incidence, severity and marked functional changes.
- Identify vulnerable populations to TBI and considerations as primary care staff.
- List different screening methods used at the primary care level for TBI.
- Explain how primary care staff can be involved in the continuum of care for individuals with TBI.
